Chapter 5 Preview: Kevin's laughter was warm, a wash of warm summer air coming through an open window into a room chilled from the air conditioning and Joe felt a little more of his tension slipping away. Things were so much better when Kevin was home. Chapter 4 Preview: He straightened again, leaning against the counter and slipping the rebel grape into his mouth, smiling faintly. Because as much as he shouldn't have minded, a part of him did mind. The part of him that he couldn't understand wished that Kevin would spend a little bit more time at home with them, now that they had a chance to be in one place. Sure, they were in the middle of filming JONAS and writing songs for the new album, and the show, but at least they were home in LA for an extended period of time.

Chapter 3 Preview: His hair was wet, as were his clothes, as though he'd run quickly to get into the house. Joe moved his legs, reaching for his acoustic and carefully moving it off the seat next to him so Kevin could sit down. Kevin's fingers immediately closed around the fretboard of Joe's guitar and he set it on his lap, feeling much better with it there than having it lying somewhere it could get broken.

Chapter 2 Preview: The very preliminary stages of songs were always Joe's favorite, because at that time, all the songs were still too new for Nick to sing them to anyone but him and Kevin. Joe still couldn't quite figure out why he loved that so much, but he did, and he didn't try to deny himself that pleasure. So instead he hop-skipped forwards so he was walking side by side with his older brother, smiling somewhat deviously.
